Jujustsu means "Gentle Art" which is a misnomer.  Our system focuses on strking the attacker in vital areas (atemi) and stunning them in preparation for a throw, lock or submission.  Atemi-ryu Ju Jitsu is the "historical" Mixed Martial Art.

Ju-jitsu is taught at the Bamboo Dojo by Juan Posada, a Shihan Instructor with a fourth degree blackbelt in Sanuces Ryu JuJutsu and Yoshukai Karate. Mr. Posada has studied with Grand Master Powell and currently studies with Professor Chenique. The core curriculum stresses street effectiveness.  Testimonial: "As a Ft.
